In the final game of the season Hardwick looked dead and buried at half time, at 4-0 down however, they made a remarkable comeback in the second half with Higgins scoring his second goal of the game with the last kick of the match to make it 5-5. Other Hardwick goals came from Hope, Highfield and Smith.
